Animatus News April 2006

Here’s the latest news from Animatus Studio…

CARTOONED CLASSICS at the RPO

This past Saturday, we were pleased to be involved with the Rochester Philharmonic’s presentation of CARTOONED CLASSICS. It was an afternoon of classical pieces made famous (at least to us) through their use in cartoons. Conductor Michael Butterman was gracious enough to invite our fearless leader, Fred Armstrong, to speak about the process of animation and the use of music in cartoons from the golden age. There was also a quiz to test the animation knowledge of the audience.

We’d like to thank everyone at the RPO for the wonderful experience.
