Animatus News June 2002

Greetings from Animatus!

Here’s the latest news from Rochester’s premiere animation studio.

AN EVENING OF SHORTS
Featuring Su and Mo
Su and Mo, the lap-dancing bad boys of animation, have grown too large to be confined by a mere computer terminal. Join us at the Montage Grill on Sunday, June 30 to see how their monstrous proportions hold up to video projection. It will be an evening of shorts, showcasing several pieces from Eggwork Productions and Animatus Studio.

From Eggwork Productions:

AUTOBANK
The world premiere of the comedy short.
CANNES MAN
A winning short from the Chrysler Hypnotic Million Dollar Film Festival “Extreme Filmmaking” Competition
THE MAKING OF CANNES MAN
Behind the scenes footage from Cannes, France.
LUNCH
Eggwork’s first film. Official Selection to Sundance 2002.

And from Animatus Studio:

Derf the Viking in THE QUEST FOR HAPPY HOUR
The Special Edition Producer’s/Director’s Cut.
SU AND MO: The Lap-Dancing Bad Boys of Animation
The exotic dancers make the leap from the web to the big screen. Too big to ignore!

Plus, don’t miss your chance to sample Derf the Viking’s favorite beverage:
QUEST ALE will be on tap all evening!

Sunday June 30th at The Montage Grill
50 Chestnut Street, Rochester, NY
Films start at 7:30 PM
