Kathleen Lemke, who produced her high school senior project “Down Below” at the Animation Workshop, was selected as 1 of 10 finalists for the 2014 Rochester Teen Film Festival. Congratulations, Kathleen!
“Down Below” tells the story of a young man named Boreas, who lives in the land of the clouds. He dreams of seeing what is below the clouds, and gets the chance to see his wish fulfilled. The 4 minute piece was animated in stop-motion using hand colored paper cut-out figures and backgrounds.
The RTFF screening will be on Wednesday, August 6th at The Little Theatre in Rochester, NY. Showtime begins at 5:30pm and there will be a reception immediately after the film festival in The Little Cafe.
