It was 20 years ago this season that the Animatus-produced House of Guitars Christmas ad first aired. And, if you’ve been watching TV lately, you’ll notice it’s still airing!<\/p>\n

It was 6 weeks of hard work back in 1990. Fred Armstrong, John Vincent, Allie Peed, and the whole crew worked tirelessly to create hopping elves and homicidal record albums.<\/p>\n

Perhaps Fred was tempting fate with the image of screaming Derf on the front of his car. Perhaps he shouldn’t have lent his car to his wife, Linda. In any case, when a confused deer ran out of the woods and right into the front end, the results were not pretty.<\/p>\n
