Animation Workshop Student Film Festival wrap-up

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Animation Workshop Student Film Festival and open house!  We had a great time sharing student cartoons from past and present.

The evening culminated with the screening of our competition entries.  It was great to see the pieces with an audience!

For those who missed it, here are the competition winners:

1st PLACE:
“The Dustbusters in Attack of the Killer Dustbunnies” by David Zipeto

2nd PLACE:
“Super Maintenance Man” by Greg Masceri

3rd PLACE (TIE):
“How the Wheel Was Invented” by Adam Markajani
“Rates and Proportions” by Eve Bobrow

All in all, we enjoyed spending the evening with our students and their families.  We’re looking forward to hosting similar events in the future.

Come one, come all!

In celebration of Animatus Studio’s 20th anniversary, we’re throwing a party for all workshop students, past, present, and future. We’ll be screening some of the best student cartoons from past years, including entries in our FIRST EVER ANIMATION COMPETITION.
