Animation Events at the Strong Museum of Play
For one weekend on March 15th and 16th, Animatus Studio and The Animation Workshop will be joining the GET ANIMATED! CARTOON WEEKEND at The Strong Museum of Play.
Learn the fundamentals of frame by frame stop motion animation with toys and paper characters. See them come to life on a video monitor!
Volunteers from the audience will “step into the cartoon” and become part of animation on the big screen. Interact with giant animated characters as instructors from The Animation Workshop direct the action!Along with the rest of the “Animation featuring Cartoon Network” exhibit, these will be great opportunities for children to experience the joy of animation and see their creativity come to life right before their eyes.
